How to Use a Reward Chart So It Actually Works

  1. Keep it simple. Start with just one to three behaviours you'd like your kid to work on. Be specific on the behaviour. 

  2. Be specific on the prize. Choose small prizes. Add motivation keeping it visible in a shelve

  3. Be consistent and keep it positive. 

  4. Plan to phase it out eventually. 

  5. Set your kid up for success.
